Hello everyone! So today I’m going to be sharing my July favourites with you. It’s been such a busy month in all honesty; with it being both my birthday, and my anniversary with my boyfriend; but all in all it’s been a great month, and I’ve come out of it with some clear favourites.
Radley hangbag – this was one of my birthday presents which was this month, and oh my goodness I am in love with it. It’s such a good size, and I think the thing I love most about it is the colour; I’ve never had a bright coloured bag before, nor do I really own any green so this was a jump out of my comfort zone and I just couldn’t be happier with this bag. I think it’s such a perfect colour for summer.
Toni & Guy Nourish reconstruction mask – this hair mask has worked wonders on my hair; I’ve been using it since I went back to being a really light blonde at the beginning of July and I can’t fault it. It’s a really affordable hair treatment, I picked it up for only around £7 from Boots, and it leaves my hair feeling smooth, nourished, and healthy. I like to apply this once or twice a week, and the amount of time I leave it on for varies dependent on how much time I have; but it can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes, to half an hour.
This Works In Transit camera close-up – I came across this primer in my July lookfantastic beauty box, and as I had already heard so many good things about this I was super excited to get it. It met up to my expectations, and provides a smooth, moisturized canvas to then go ahead with your face makeup.
Marks and Spencer Autograph Twist Up Cheek Highlighter – shade pearl – I absolutely love this highlighter, it’s so pigmented and such a pretty pearly, pinky colour. Although this is a wet highlighter rather than a powder one, it doesn’t leave a greacy finish which is perfect for my oily skin; and I think the fact that it’s as a stick is super convenient.
Bareminerals rose radiance all over cheek colour – now I’ve actually had this since around December time, but it’s been since I was on holiday and throughout this month that I’ve been really reaching for it. It’s such a warm, pinky colour with a slight sparkle, but it’s not too pink meaning that it can be used as a combined blush and bronze. I find that the colour compliments my summer glow well, and as it’s a two in one is nice and quick and easy.
Barry M nail paint in the shade ballerina – I think this colour is such a perfect pink for me. One coat of this lasted such a long time, didn’t chip easily, and left a glossy finish which I love.
Marks and Spencer white orchid fragrance – I’ve been using this fragrance since I went on my holiday to Rhodes in June, and throughout July I’ve been throwing it in my handbag, and finding it so perfect to keep with me, to freshen up when I’m on the go. Plus it’s floral, sweet scent is perfect for the summer.
Lauren Weisberger Last Night at Chateau Marmont – I decided to try out this book because I absolutely loved the book and film Devil Wears Prada by this author, and then the book Revenge Wears Prada; so I decided to try out another. I quickly got into the story line, and I’d recommend this to any of you who liked the Devil Wears Prada as, although the story line is completely different, it has a similar feel to it.
TV – Friday Night Dinner – I absolutely love this show, and it’s in this months favourites not only because of how much I’ve been watching it recently, but also because the new series was released on the 22nd of this month which was super exciting for me, and I love the new series just as much.
I hope that you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading! What have your favourites been this month?
