Hello everyone, it’s time for a little bit of beauty talk on a product spotlight on this Kiko creamy lipgloss I picked up recently. When I got this, I picked up two other products two (review posts coming soon), and this was the first time I’d ever bought Kiko makeup so I went into the shop with a totally open mind.
I’m always on the hunt for finding lip products; I absolutely love trying out new colours and consistencies. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a lover of pink – so when I was browsing in the shop and had a selection of so many pink makeup bits in front of me I was like a kid in a candy shop. I decided to pick this creamy lip gloss up, rather than a normal lipstick because I was intrigued by the idea of the two combined – I get pretty dry lips, and from this name I got the idea in mind that this would be more moisturising than a lipstick – so I gave it a go.
I got this for only £3.40 in the sale – the full price is £6.90 which is still great in my opinion. I love the fact that it’s the shape of a big crayon – it makes it super easy to apply.
The main thing I love about this is that the pigmentation is really good – it comes out on your lips almost as bright as it looks. I wore this out for a night time date and the colour lasted well for the majority of it – better than what I was expecting with it not being a lipstick.
A bright pink like this isn’t something I’d usually go for, but there was something about it that made me feel like I needed it. The only thing I’d point out that I was slightly disappointed by was that it wasn’t as ‘lipglossy’ as I was expecting it to be if that makes sense – I expected it to be more moisturising, but nevertheless I’m still more than impressed.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and thank you so much for reading! I’ll have review posts on the other two products I bought when I picked this up so keep a look out! Have you tried out any makeup from Kiko before? If so – what do you think of it?
