Hello everyone! It’s the beginning of a new month, which of course means another lookfantastic beauty box post. First things first, I can’t believe that we’re in August already – seriously where has the time gone?! I absolutely love putting together these posts, so make sure you’re comfortable, grab a cuppa, and let’s get unboxing.
I absolutely love the packaging to this months box – the pink packaging is right up my street I think it looks so so pretty, and I like that this theme is different to the previous holiday/summery themes in June and July. This month is a British themed box, which is in correspondence with the Olympics which I thought was a really nice idea. The box, like usual came with the ELLE magazine; and I was so shocked to see that this September ELLE magazine is so much bigger than the previous two in the box; so I’m definitely going to save that for reading on my holiday in a few weeks time – bliss.
Like always, the products were nicely laid out – and I just love the packaging details that make opening the box so much more exciting. So, let’s get onto the products…
Percy & Reed Wonder Blam: I was so excited to see this because I love getting new goodies for my hair. This aims to be a nice base for your hair before you go in with your styling; and products like this are such a savior for me because, particularly in the summer, my hair can frizz up and be difficult to control, so anything that’s going to help me achieve the look I want to create is right up my street.
Bloom and Blossom Rejuvinating Facial Spritz: this product is of a new nature to me, I’ve never had a facial spritz and I’m super excited to try this out and see how it works with my skin. This product claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles, and to give a radiant bright finish. I really like the idea of using a facial spritz on those days where I’ve got a lot on, I need a freshen up, and so I really want to take this in my flight bag on holiday.
Bee Good Vanilla and Honey Lip Balm: Any lip moisturising product is always going to get used up by me, I’m prone to dry lips; so I always have a lip balm in my bag wherever I am. This lipblam is formulated with British beewax and Borage oil, and it has such an amazing vanilla and honey scent. I love the packaging to this also, I think it’s really cute.
Ren Flash Defense Anti-Pollution Mist: This mist ‘is formulated with Zinc and Maganese Amino Acids’ which apparently protect your skin from city environments. The lookfantastic tip for this product is to keep it handy to protect your skin from pollution, and that it’s perfect for a city break. I can’t lie that this product is something that I’ve never even heard of before; but all I can say is that protecting your skin from harsh environments can only be a good thing. I’m intrigued to try this out, and see what it’s like.
Renu Lip and Eye Active Lift: I absolutely love any kind of moisturising product, so give me this lip and eye cream and of course I’m going to be happy. The lookfantastic tip for using this is that ‘less is more’ and to massage into the upper brown and cheek bones for the best results.
Balance Me Congested Skin Serum: I really like the sound of this product, I love taking good care of my skin. This product aims to banish blemishes without the use of harsh chemicals, and as well as blemishes helps with blocked pores. Apparently this is non-greasy and suitable for all skin types; the fact that it isn’t greasy is the thing that stood out to me the most with me having oily skin.
So there we have it, that’s everything inside this months lookfantastic beauty box. This was the last out of my three month subscripction, and as much as I’ve loved these boxes: I’d love to try out other boxes too so let me know what ones you like!
I hope you enjoyed this post, and thank you so much for reading!
