Hello everyone! This has become a 4-month old tradition now – it’s a new month which means another post and video on the lookfantastic beauty box, although this months is going up slightly later than usual as I’ve been away on holiday. I absolutely love receiving my box each month, and I’m super eager to find out what’s in this month’s because it’s the first one I’ve ever got in an Autumn month.
The theme of this month’s box is celebrating the lookfantastic beauty box’s second birthday so the box has a ‘party theme’. I really like the simplistic blue and white design to this months box – blue is after all my all time favourite colour. So, let’s dive into the box…
Argan Liquid Gold multi-tone BB Cream:
This BB cream claims to provide both a natural and even coverage, absorb quickly into the skin, and hydrate and sooth the skin. I really like the feel of BB creams on my skin, and they tend to be my go to when my skin is particularly dry – for example when on holiday or in the winter months – I just feel like its nicer on my skin. I’m really eager to try out this BB cream, as it’s infused with organic Argan oil and 24 carat gold to nourish the skin and hydrate it.
BareMinerals Mini Moxie Lipstick:
I’ve always been a massive lover for bareminerals makeup, and if you’ve been following my blog I’m sure that’s come across pretty clear. I’ve tried out the marvellous moxie lip glosses before,!!£5 never the lipsticks so I was so excited to see this inside the box. The shade of this is ‘Get ready’ and I think it’s such a nice shade for the Autumn. I love that bareminerals makeup skincare has such benefits for the skin; for instance, this lipstick is formulated with vitamin A, C and E as well as Omega Fatty acids and Abyssinian oil.
Lord and Berry Mini Luminer Stick:
Now this product is actually not the one that is advertised in the beauty box magazine – there was a mix up on lookfantastic’s part, and so this is an alternative. However, I absolutely love this product – it has such a strong pigmentation and is such a lovely pearly, sparkly shade. I can’t wait to start wearing this, I think it’ll be perfect for a night time look where I want to look super glowy.
Bliss Lemon and Sage Maximum Moisture Cream:
I’m such a lover for body butters, moisturisers and anything that’s going to leave my skin feeling smooth. I’m especially focussing on moisturising recently due to being on holiday in the sun. This has a really strong, fresh scent and you can really smell the lemon which I love.
Cristophe Robin Purifying Shampoo:
I really like the sound of this shampoo due to the fact that it’s free from chemicals such as parabens, sillicones, and SLS so that it gently cleanses and cleans your hair without irritating the scalp. My scalp got a little burnt and so is slightly irritated when I was on my holiday, so I can’t wait to try this out and see if its a gentle treatment. The lookfantastic tip for this to use it once a week.
Gatineau Collagne Expert Eye Pads:
Eye pads aren’t something I’ve ever tried before, but the benefits of this of course stood out to me. These are infused with collagen to help reduce wrinkles, and Glycerin to help with hydration and the reduction of dark circles and puffiness. I just love finding products that are going to benefit my skin, so I can’t wait to give these a try.
So there we have it, that’s the September lookfantastic’s beauty box – I’m happy with this selection, especially with all the moisturising products. What beauty boxes do you like?
