Today I’m sharing with you my photo diary of 10 days I spent in Lanzarote – I stayed at the Hesperia 5 star hotel with my family which is located in Peurto Calero. The holiday was a balance between taking the time to relax at the hotel and enjoy the perks of going all inclusive, whilst also taking the time to explore some of the volcanic history and towns of the island.
The view from our balcony – we stayed in a family room which was basically two double rooms with a bathroom each joined together with two separate balconies. It was nice and spacious, yet still nice for us all to be together.
The hotel was only a ten minute walk away from the Peurto Calero marina – the path to which was straight off the hotel grounds which was super easy and it was such a beautiful walk.
Puerto Del Carmen
We hired out a car from the hotel and drove around to find local towns to explore. The island is only 40 miles long so it’s so easy to explore.
We went on an organised tour which included camel rides, a trip to the national park where we saw the volcanoes and got to saw experiments on them, and a visit to a local wine cellar.
