Hello everyone! Today I’m putting the spotlight on the Studio 10 Miracle Effect Priming Serum. I always think that finding the right primer is essential – the wrong one can totally ruin how my makeup ends up looking and feeling. With me having oily skin, any primer that has an oily, or heavy feel just doesn’t work for me. I need something to feel lightweight, and breathable. The Studio 10 Miracle Effect Priming serum is one of the very few primers that I like to use – my other go-to being the bareminerals prime time primer.

This product has many beneficial elements, rather than just being a primer and I think that’s why it works for me. I love that with so so many beauty products these day, they have hidden benefits. The Miracle Effect Priming Serum on the one hand has the typical qualities you’d expect, such as reducing enlarged pores, and improving puffiness and dark circles around the eyes. But it also aims to do so much more – including the reduction of wrinkles, improving the firmness of the skin, and increase hydration and luminosity.
Ageing skin isn’t an issue for me, so I can’t hold my hand up and say that this helps me with that – why I love this primer is because it feels so light weight and breathable, yet is nice and moisturising. It creates a smooth canvas for me to then go in and apply my makeup. It has a gel-like consistency, and I find it similar to the bareminerals prime time – which I think is why I really love this product.
The only drawback to this is that it is pricey – and although I’m impressed with its functions, because I’m not the right age to be taking advantage of all it’s benefits I’m not sure it would be something I would be picking up off the shelf. Nevertheless, I’m going to treasure every use of this Mini size version I got in the Marks and Spencer beauty advent calendar – because like I said, it’s rare for me to find a primer that works well with my difficult skin – and this makes my skin look and feel great.
