Hello everyone – I hope you’re all well! Still on the roll with beauty posts, today I thought I’d share my go-to products for my daily minimal makeup look. Since being back at university, my daily makeup is minimal – I want to be comfortable, to put something on thats quick, and is nice, breathable and long lasting to last me the day. Six makeup products is all I need.
Barminerlas Matte Spf15 foundation – Of course I’m mentioning my favourite foundation, what can I say – you can read my full review of it here. It’s lightweight and breathable, and great at staying on my face all day, despite me having oily skin.
Clinique airbrush concealer – This concealer is officially my new favourite. I find it nice and brightening for under the eyes, and has a great coverage for any blemishes and dark circles. I love twist-up concealers like this, I find the application so easy and you only find yourself using just as much as you need.
Warmth and Blush
Bareminerlas warmth powder and The Body Shop all-over cheek colour: shade Ginger – These two combined give me a nice natural warmth and glow. The bareminerals warmth powder is nice and pigmented, and with my fair skin tone I only need the tiniest amount – that I blend with the bareminerals flawless face brush to warm up my complexion. Then I go in with The Body Shop blush and lightly apply it to the apples of my cheek – I love the colour of it – soft and natural.
Kiko Volumeyes Plus Active Mascara – At such a fantastic price of £3.90 this mascara doesn’t disappoint. It helps lengthen and volumes my lashes – and just one or two coats with this is enough for my daily eye makeup. I don’t tend to bother with any eyeliner or eyeshadow unless I’m making more of an effort.
Kiko Smart Fusion Lipstick Shade Soft Rose – This again is such an amazing price, and it’s the perfect soft, neutral pink for on the daily. I love how creamy and moisturising it is, so it’s definitely one to have in my bag on a daily basis.
