Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’ve got another beauty review today – I must say I’m on a bit of a roll and it feels great to be getting back into blogging. Today I’m reviewing the Rodial eye pen. I’v only tried one product from Rodial prior to this, which was the XXL lip liner – you can read my review of it here. But, since I loved that lip liner and it’s now something I use almost daily I felt optimistic about how I’d feel about this. I must admit, I’m not a big eyeliner kinda gal, when I do wear it I keep it nice and subtle, a little goes a long way for me using an eye pencil I find. And since I keep it nice and minimal pencil style eyeliners are always my go to.

I love the minimalistic packaging to this eyeliner – it’s simple and classic just like the product itself a classic black liner perfect to have handy in anyone’s makeup bag.
The eye pen itself applies smoothly and easily, sometimes with a classic eye pencil I find it quite difficult to apply, but this has more of a crayonny like feel to it, meaning it applies easier and smoothly. I love how fine the tip is, it’s perfect for the minimal look I go for. You can see how finely it goes on, but I also love how easily it is to smudge out and blend to create a more dramatic eye look which I’d love for a glam night time look. It’s rich pigmentation, makes it so simple to create a bold, dramatic eye look.
I found the eyeliner to be long-lasting which is great, there’s nothing more annoying than finding your eyes have smudged or come off half way through your night. My eyes also tend to water a lot, so finding something sturdy is crucial for me. I first tried this when I was on holiday in Cyprus, and it survived the humid nights staying strong. Likewise, it’s proving well for me still to this date. It’s become one of my go-to eye products for any night out.
