Autumn / Winter Nails

Hello everyone – I hope you’re all well! Today I wanted to share some of my favourite nail polishes for this time of year. I don’t often share nail-relate products on my blog, but I absolutely having a freshly painted set of nails – it gives me a ‘I’ve got myself together’ kind of feeling. I tend to lean towards darker, red sparkly colours this time of year to match colours of the festivities.

Nails Inc Gel One Coat: Piccadilly Court Marks and Spencer Autograph: Cranberry – these two polishes are for when I’m feeling very festive – although ones more a deeper red and the other is a sparkly pink they both scream Christmas to me. The Nails Inc is great quality, while I do use two coat you could get away with just one, the colour is really pigmented, and it lasts really well. There’s nothing more annoying than chipped nails the day after you’ve painted them. Marks and Spencer’s Autograph beauty range has always pleased me with its quality, and this too is bright, thick and long-lasting.

Collection 7 Day Wear – This nail polish is almost an in-between of purple and grey – it’s hard to describe but I think it looks great with a dark outfit in the Autumn and Winter. I tend to avoid dark nails through spring and summer, but hey when it’s dark outside and my outfits tend to be darker at this time of year why not throw in dark nails too. This is really affordable, and has a standard lasting and finish – two coats with a top clear coat does me fine.

Kiko pastel metal nail lacquer: 001 – Kiko nail polishes are seriously good value for money. I love this shade it’s like a metallic silver which looks so shiny and festive. I find silvers just as festive as reds, and perfect to match the colder weather.

What are your favourite nail polishes for this time of year?
