The Everyday Lip Edit

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. We’re talking beauty today, and I thought I’d put together a post sharing my favourite lipsticks and glosses for on the daily. Back in December I put together a Festive Lip Edit, and so I thought I would do the same but for the products I reach for, for my everyday makeup looks.

Laura Geller Pout Perfection waterproof lip liner – Cabernet

Rodial XXL lip liner – Nude

L’oreal Colour Riche Lipstick – Beige a Nu

Kiko Smart Fusion Lipstick – Soft Rose

Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipstick – Baby

Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipstick – Strip

Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipgloss – Rebel

Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipgloss – Socialite

Rosy For Autograph Lip Glossy – Super Model Smile

These products are a prefect selection of pinks and nudes, which is what I reach for on a daily basis. I’m one for keeping my makeup pretty simple and natural, so a subtle hint of pink, or gloss, or a classic nude will be my go-to. Lip liner definitely isn’t something I wear all the time, but this Rodial and Laura Geller one I absolutely love, and they’re included in my collection of daily lips because they compliment various shades of my picks really well.

I’ve loved the Bareminerlas marvellous moxie lip glosses for years now, and Rebel and Socialite are two perfect different shades of pink for when I fancy a bit of gloss. I’d tend to wear gloss for a weekend, or more of a day out, whereas just for my typical weekdays at university a bit of lippy does me fine. Gloss for me is for more special times, but I still wear it very regularly. As for the Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipsticks, these are a more recent find, as I discovered them in my Bareminerals box of wonders advent calendar, but I love them all the same as the lip glosses. Baby is the loveliest baby pink, which I think looks so nice for an everyday look. I love baby pink, and this with a tad of the socialite lipgloss over the top is even better. In fact, that combo is a common pick for a date night or lunch date. Likewise I love to mix Kiko’s soft rose with the Bareminerals gloss in Rebel for another pink combo. As for Strip, it’s just a classic nude that you can’t go wrong with. I always reach for this on minimal, natural looking days when I don’t want anything statement. This or the L’oreal colour riche lipstick, in 630 (Beige A Nu). The Rosie for Autograph Lip Glossy in Super Model Smile is the perfect hybrid between lipstick and lipgloss. Not only is it a gorgeous natural looking nude shade, it has so much moisture and the sense of a gloss. It’s perfect for days when my lips want extra moisture, and for any day  out being a hybrid. It has the advantage of making your lips look nice and glossy, without the stickiness and dilemma of your hair getting stuck in your lipgloss in the wind.
