What’s In My Makeup Bag For The Weekend

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. Today I wanted to share with you what’s inside my makeup bag for a typical weekend I have away from where I live. As a university student, packing up my makeup bag for a weekend is a commonality, since I visit home for the weekend pretty regularly. I personally love to have a little nosy into what others have in their makeup bags, because after all, what you chose to select in your makeup bag is going to be your favourite, trusted, and most-used products, so here’s what’s in mine.

Clinique pep-start eye cream
Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief
Bareminerals spf15 matte foundation
Clinique anti-blemish solutions foundation
L’oreal true match concealer
Pur correcting primer
Bareminerals rose radiance powder
Bareminerals mineral veil
Clinique chubby stick sculpting highlight

The bareminerals matte foundation is, as you’ll probably know, is an all-time favourite of mine. I’ve mentioned it countless times on my blog because it just never fails me, I find it comfortable, I love the coverage, and it works well with my skin. Another favourite of mine is the Clinique anti-blemish solutions foundation. I’m currently using the anti-blemish skincare range too, and it’s the perfect compliment. The coverage is great, and it’s a foundation that lasts all day. Another must to my daily face is the bareminerals mineral veil, it’s the perfect finishing powder and really makes a difference in ensuring my makeup lasts and keeps my skin looking matte for longer.

Bareminerals full flawless face brush, and flawless face brush
Look Good Feel Better angled blending brush

Kiko volumeyes mascara
Eyeko skinny liquid eyeliner
Bareminerals colour extravaganza eye palette

For a weekend, since I can’t say what kind of makeup looks I’ll want to create, so I keep my makeup bag nice and simple and full with safe options, especially for the eyes. So, I pack a favourite eyeliner, mascara, and here I’ve picked some versatile shades form the bareminerals colour extravaganza palette. The colour extravaganza palette is so handy. As you can see here I selected three and put it in the mini palette holder, which makes it the ultimate travel palette. You can read my full review of the palette here.

L’oreal colour riche lipstick (630 – Beige A Nu)
Barminerals marvellous moxie lipstick (Rebel)
Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipgloss (Baby)

Likewise, I like to select some safe, versatile favourites for my lips. So naturally I’ve gone with two nudes and a gloss. This is my first L’oreal lipstick, and I can safely say I’ll be wanting more – the pigmentation is fab, and it’s nice and moisturising on the lips – just what I look for. The colour is perfect for a daily lip so I have it in my bag pretty much every single day. I’m also a huge fan of the bareminerals marvellous moxie lipsticks and lip glosses, they’re so long lasting and pigmented. I love a lipstick for on the daily, and a gloss for a dressier occasion so having my three favourites chucked in a makeup bag will cover me no matter what I happen to be doing.
