A Cosy Weekend Away: Darcy Mews – Richmond

Today I wanted to share with you my experience staying at Darcy Mews – Richmond for a weekend away with friends. It was a lovely relaxing weekend, away from our normal lives, in an area with lots of countryside, pubs, and staying in a luxurious, cosy apartment.

The apartment had three double bedrooms – one with an en-suite, a main bathroom, a nice and big kitchen, diner and living area, and two balconies. It was nice and spacious, furnished and decorated to a high standard, and had a real luxurious feel to it. The master bedroom upstairs also had a small terrace with seating out of patio doors as well having an en-suite. But, the other two double rooms on the ground floor were amazing too, and had the main bathroom just across the hallway.

Each apartment had an allocated private parking space, but for any other parking Darcy Mews has some overflow parking spaces right around the corner free of charge, so getting parked was no issue for any of us.

All bedrooms had gorgeous bed sheets, towels, a tv, and plenty of hangers in the wardrobe – everything I needed for the weekend. I loved the decor in the bedrooms, it felt so cosy, warm, and chic. The bathrooms were modern, and a great size too, and came with complimentary NEOM toiletries which was a nice touch.

On the middle floor there was a spacious kitchen, diner and living area, and a little balcony area. The kitchen came equipped with: a electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, dishwasher, fridge, tea and coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and kitchen cloths, as well as all the utensils, cutlery and crockery you could think of. So, all we needed to do was bring our own food and we were sorted. It was really nice to cook and eat together as a group in the open kitchen/diner. As well with complimentary wifi and a tv and DVD, our entertainment was sorted – music and films, yes please.

All in all, our weekend away staying at Darcy Mews was the perfect, relaxing retreat away. And the apartment had a cosy, homely but luxury feel to it, whilst still being an affordable price, and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay at our fingertips.
