July Beauty Favourites

July beauty favourites Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. Today I’m bringing back an older style of blog post, a good old monthly favourites post. Over the last year or so, I haven’t found myself having a handful of clear favourites from that month – perhaps because I haven’t been changing up my beauty routines too much. This month, however, there’s some definite favourite items that I wanted to share.

As far as I ever go in the world of fake tan is a gradual tan, and this is a super affordable, natural looking gradual tan that applies just like a moisturiser. It smells great, is light weight and non sticky, and gives me a little bit of natural colour for the summer. You can read my full review of the product here.

Kiko smart colour blush (02 Rosy Mauve) – I’ve been using this blush every day recently – most days in the summer I keep my makeup really minimal, and this has been my go-to to add a little bit of warmth and colour to my cheeks. I love kiko for affordable, yet good quality makeup. This shade is nice and subtle which is great for my fair skin tone, and has a matte finish which is something I always look for.

Aldi luxury reed diffuser (No.11 Peony Blush)  – I was so happy that I managed to get my hands on one of these incredible dupe diffusers from Aldi for under a fiver. It smells absolutely amazing and fills the room with the scent. I’m hoping to get my hands on more of the other scents too to fill my house with.

Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipgloss (Dreamer) – Although Bareminerals marvellous moxie lip glosses are already a known favourite of mine, this month in particular I’ve been loving the shade ‘dreamer’. It’s super sparkly, but has a nice nude colour making it wearable for almost all occasions, either by itself or with a nude or pink lipstick underneath. I find the marvellous moxie lip glosses to be really long lasting, hydrating, and have great colour pigmentation. Oh, and they smell amazing too which is always a bonus.

Batiste dry shampoo (tropical)  – Batiste has been my go-to when it comes to dry shampoo for years, it works so well for my hair and I love how much of an impact it makes. This month I’ve been using the tropical scent which is now crowned as my new favourite – it smells fruity and refreshing and is perfect to leave your hair looking and smelling fresh between washes. If there’s anything I hate, it’s when my hair smells like hair – I love it to always smell and look clean and fresh and I’ve always found that batiste has a strong, lasting fragrance.

Daniel Wellington watch – I got this watch as my 21st birthday present from my boyfriend, and I’m so in love with it. It’s exactly the type of watch I had in mind – it’s simple, elegant, and is a really nice fit for my small wrists. I wanted a watch that felt more like a piece of jewellery, rather than something clumpy with gadgets. I love it so much, and it feels really special to have it as a gift for such a memorable birthday.
