A full face of bareminerals for a date night glam look

full face of bareminerals glam makeup If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll know that bareMinerals is one of my all time favourite makeup brands. Their makeup products work so well for my skin type, I love the quality, their packaging, and what they bring out. Some of my bareminerals products are a real staple in my makeup bag, that I couldn’t imagine not using. Today I wanted to share my go-to easy, glam makeup look using some of my favourite bareMinerals makeup.

The products

Original prime time primer – This primer is the perfect compliment to this entire face of makeup, it feels really smooth on the skin with a jelly-like consistency, is breathable, and doesn’t clog up your pores. I definitely notice a difference in how long my makeup lasts when I wear this so it’s great for long days or a night out.

Spf15 matte foundation – You’ll know that this is my all time favourite foundation. It’s breathable, has a buildable coverage, doesn’t aggravate my skin when I break out, and does a great job at keeping my oily skin looking matte. It feels and looks so natural on my face.

Full flawless and flawless face brush, and max coverage concealer brush – I take the full flawless brush to buff into my foundation, the smaller flawless face brush to gently apply my warmth powder and mineral veil, and the max coverage concealer brush to go in with the foundation over any blemishes, my under eye area, and generally anywhere that needs more attention.

All-over warmth powder – This warmth powder is another staple in my makeup bag, it’s something I wear almost every day. Just the tiniest amount of this goes a long way, I just lightly buff a small amount on my cheekbones, forehead and under the chin with the flawless face brush to give my face colour and warmth. I’m not one to go heavy on contouring or highlighting, just a bit of colour and perhaps a bit of blush as well, and I’m good to go.

Mineral veil powder – The mineral veil powder is my go-to setting powder, its how I always finish off my face. I find it really makes a difference in keeping me oil free for longer, and generally just being the finish to my face. Just a light dusting of the powder with the flawless face brush is all you need.

Flawless defintion mascara – You can read my full review of this mascara here – where I explain why this is my current favourite mascara. It curls, it lengthens, it defines, it keeps my lashes separated – it’s just amazing. When it comes to mascara, I’m much more about definition rather than volume, so if thats the kind of thing you’re also looking for, I’d give this a go.

Colour extraveganza eye palette – shades chart topper, fantasy, bewilder : – I got this eye palette as a Christmas present a while ago, and while I don’t think the actual palette was continued, it is made up of bareMinerals eye colours of your choice, and so I still wanted to share it. I can simply pop the colours from the bigger palette, and into this mini three palette with the brush included making it perfect for travel. Here I have the shades ( ) because, like with Marvel, these are three colours I know I can mix and match, and will be suitable for most looks. They’re subtle colours, which is what I like to go for.

Eye colour: Marvel – I love this eye colour, it’s just a basic shimmery brown nude shade that you can wear for almost all occasions. I carry it around in my makeup bag because I know that if all else fails and I don’t know what to go for, I know I can just stick on a bit of this, some mascara, and my eyes are sorted. The pigmentation is great and the colour is really long lasting. The only drawback with it being a loose powder is there’s a bit of fallout, but thats nothing that a bit of cotton wool can’t fix.

Marvellous moxie lipstick – elite – For a date night glam look I wanted to have a bit of a statement lip, so why not go dark. I love this shade, it’s a gorgeous plum shade. I find that when my lip is statement, there’s no need to go heavy with the eyes, and since I usually just stick to mascara and eye shadow for my eyes, I like to let my lips run the show. I topped this with the Marvellous moxie lipgloss: best dressed  which are a perfect complimenting pair. The marvellous moxie lip products have great pigmentation and last a really long time, the lipstick is nice and moisturising, and the gloss stays glossy all night.

I love Bare Minerals too! I’m also using the BM veil and I recently purchased the skinlongevity vital power serum as well! It’s so good!

Bareminerls seems like such an amazing brand, I haven’t even tried that much of their products. I really should! Lovely products, I think they’d make up a stunning makeup look.

I haven’t tried any Bare Mineral products, but since you mentioned they work really well for your skin type, I would like to know what your skin type is. Lol. I have combination skin, so I have patches of dry and oily. I wouldn’t mind trying BM out though 🙂
Thank you for sharing and happy Monday!
