Hello everyone, I hope you’re well. Now, if you’re caught up with my recent posts, you’ll know that I’ve been taking part in the Herbalife Nutrition 21 day challenge with olympic athlete Nile Wilson over the past three weeks. You can read my previous post about the challenge here. Today I wanted to put together a quick overview of how I’ve found the challenge, and which of the Herbalife Nutrition products I found to be really beneficial to compliment my daily workouts.

Taking part in daily exercises over the last three weeks has definitely made me feel stronger both mentally and physically, and has got me back on that fitness hype. The timing of the 21 day challenge fit perfectly at a time when I needed something to give me the push and the motivation to get back into a regular work out routine, and I’m so glad I’ve completed the challenge, I’m registered at a new gym, and I’m back into the swing of exercising regularly and loving it.

The challenge outline:

Day 1 – Cardio

Day 2 – Handstand

Day 3 – Mindset

Day 4 – Full Body Workout

Day 5 – Core

Day 6 – Flexibility

Day 7 – Rest day

This seven day cycle of these daily focuses was repeated weekly, so each time we got to a new week I  knew what each day I would be focusing on, and it got easier to complete each time. The work out videos were really easy to follow, with Nile Wilson upfront talking you through each session, motivating you to get through it. A modified version the exercises was also always shown so if there was a particular exercise I wasn’t great at, there was an alternative which worked my body all the same.

I was kindly gifted by Herbalife Nutrition some of their nutritional products to compliment the programme, and I’ve found some real favourites that will be great to have as I continue with achieving my fitness goals.

I’ve been loving the chocolate and almond protein bars as a high protein, healthy snack. Since they are only 140 calories and contain 10g of protein per bar they’re perfect to curb my sweet tooth, whilst providing me with the benefits to aid my workouts. They’re a great pre-workout snack I like to have through the day to give me energy.

Also, the vanilla flavoured healthy meal-replacement shake has been great for days where I’m on the go, as a a flavoursome protein shake that keeps me going. My fitness goals aren’t to drastically lose weight, rather to become leaner so this is great for that, as it’s a great option for building lean muscle along with exercise.
