Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. Today I’ve got another outfit to share, on styling a denim pinafore dress. A denim pinafore dress is a staple piece you can wear all year round, for a number of occasions. Here I styled mine with a long sleeve flare sleeve top, tights and flats for a casual summer evening dinner date.
Denim pinafore dress – Dorothy Perkins
Flare sleeve black and white top – Marks and Spencer Limited Edition
Shoes – Boden
Cross body bag – Radley
Earrings – Marks and Spencer
I’m not a huge wearer of skirts and dresses, as I tend to find trousers and jeans more wearable and more comfortable. But a trusty piece like a denim pinafore dress, is something I find comfortable, and is really wearable for a number of occasions, and all weather variations. Here I styled my denim dress with this white flared sleeve top from Marks and Spencer with a black frill detailing, which I feel as though really pulls the look together, to make it that bit dressier for a date night. Whilst at the same time, I managed to keep it somewhat casual by pairing it with flat shoes. I then added my trusty Radley cross body bag, some earrings, and a statement red lip as the last touches to the look, making this a really easy, wearable outfit for a date night.
I love styling my denim dress with tights, which makes it a really handy transitioning piece work into my Autumn and winter wardrobe as well, as you can easily add thick knitted tights and boots, and with a jumper underneath the dress for warmth.
