Hello everyone, I hope you’re well. Today I’m bringing you a classic, mix and match favourites post. Favourites posts aren’t a regular series on my blog, because I’m not constantly changing up my routines, but when I come across a handful of things I’ve been loving I love to share it in this type of post.
Now that we’re officially into September, it feels natural to me to want to whip out darker lips, burgundy nails, layers and boots. A current favourite of mine is the bareMinerals marvellous moxie lipgloss in the shade Best Dressed, as a perfect Autumnal shade. I love the marvellous moxie lip glosses; they have great pigmentation and are really long lasting – just the lipgloss and no lipstick underneath is totally enough and will last me a good length of time.
I have been using the Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief almost daily on my skin at the moment. With the weather starting to get that little bit chillier, and being back on a topical treatment for my acne, my skin has become a little drier, so this has been great to give my skin that bit of extra moisture it has been in need of. I love this as it’s really moisturising and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft, but it’s breathable, light weight and does’t clog my pores. As you can see, I’ve almost run out so I definitely need make a repurchase of this.
I picked these Leather Chelsea Boots from Marks and Spencer up a couple of weeks ago, and I am storing them away in my wardrobe ready for when Autumn comes – these will be my trusty, daily boots that I can wear with almost everything, and are so comfortable. You really can’t go wrong with a chelsea boot for Autumn and winter, and I love this pair from Marks and Spencer – I always find shoes from there to be super comfortable, and I opted for leather so that they would last.

My current favourite read is How To Be An Overnight Success by Maria Hatzistefanis, the founder and CEO of Rodial. I’m finding this such an inspirational, and motivating read. You don’t have to be an aspiring entrepreneur to enjoy or relate to this book – it offers loads of helpful pointers, and in my experience helped me look at things in perspective, and think about my goals and what I want to achieve.
As for TV, I’ve recently started watching The Vampire Diaries on Netflix, and I can’t believe its taken me this long to give it a go because I’m hooked already.
What are your current favourites?
