The Knitted Midi

Black Knitted Ribbed Long Sleeved Midi Dress

You can’t go wrong with a midi dress, let alone a black knitted one that’s guaranteed to be a trusty piece in your winter wardrobe. I love throwing this on with some tights, boots or ballet flats, and throwing a coat over the top for a no fuss, yet put together look. Also, you could easily add a chunky necklace, pair of heeled boots and a red lip for a more dressy, night time look. This dress is so flattering, super warm and comfortable, and great to mix and match with.

Here I styled the midi with my black chelsea boots, faux leather jacket, and my over the shoulder radley bag. A black on black on black look which, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with.

The Classic Jumper Dress

Grey Knit Block Colour Jumper Dress

I paired this dress with thick black tights, my, my knee high suede boots, and my trusty Radley bag. This made for a perfect outfit for an evening meal out and drinks with friends.

I absolutely love the design of this dress – it takes a simple jumper dress and gives it that little something more. You know I love anything monochrome, and this dress matches my love for grey and white themes. I accessorised the dress with my trusty Daniel Wellington watch, and this super cute charm necklace from Pandora.

The Bright Dress

Now, colour isn’t usually my biggest thing, and there’s definitely only a select few coloured dresses hanging in my wardrobe, but when I stumbled across this online, I couldn’t resist. There was something about it that I thought was just perfect for the winter months. I knew that with a pair of boots, and my long snuggly black cardigan it would be a perfect daytime, or casual evening look.

Here I styled it with my black heeled knee high boots from Boden, and a few simple accessories of my usual watch and necklace. The bright colour of this dress means it speaks for itself, so I didn’t feel the need for much accessorising.

The Statement Dress

Black One Shoulder Ruched Slinky Midi Dress

This dress is absolutely perfect for New Years Eve, or any other party you’ve got coming up. I love a black dress for a special occasion, it’s what I feel best in and you can never go wrong with a simple LBD. This one shoulder midi dress is a lovely silky material, with a fit of being figure hugging in all the right places – a nice flattering fit. I’m recently getting into wearing midi dresses a lot more often, particularly in the winter months, and I just find them to look super chic and classy.

Here I styled it with  … ready to go for a night of celebration.

This dress would look fabulous with court shoes, a sparkly clutch, a statement red lip and smoky eye for any party over the festive season.

Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of the four dresses I picked, and the sizing to be spot on. I usually go for a size 8, which I did with these Femme Luxe dresses, and they’re a perfect fit. These dresses are some great staple dresses to my winter wardrobe this year, that I can style a number of ways, and mix and match with other pieces in my wardrobe.
