Hello everyone, I hope you’re well. Today I wanted to touch on inspiration, or lack of, and share some helpful blog post ideas time when you simply don’t know what to post. Lacking inspiration and ideas is something we all experience – I will go through periods of having endless motivation and creative ideas, to then having absolutely none. So I though it would be helpful not only to myself, but to others, to share 10 of my favourite ideas for when I’m lacking inspiration but still want to create content.
A Style Wishlist
ASOS wish lists are one of my favourite wish lists to create – there’s always something I like on there, and I like creating a mood-board type post that inspires not only my wardrobe choices, but hopefully others too.
A Beauty Wishlist
Likewise with a style wish list, I also like to think about what beauty products I’ve heard being raved about that I’d quite like to try. This will usually be a beauty or skincare product from brands I already know and love, that I’ve not got round to trying yet.
A Recipe Post
Sharing a recipe of one of your favourite meals or something you love to bake is a great, simple piece of content to share. It’s something you already know and love, and I like sharing the occasional recipe to mix up my content.
A Goals or To Do List Post
In the past I have been a fan of writing monthly or yearly goals posts. I find them motivational and inspiring to write, and it’s nice to reflect on what you would like to achieve.
Beauty Routine – Skincare / Makeup
I love sharing a beauty routine, whether it’s a makeup look, or what I’m currently using as my skincare regime. It’s a chance to share your favourites.
Other Routine Posts – Morning / Pamper / Evening
I love not only reading, but creating routine types of posts. I find it interesting gaining a slight insight into daily routines – whether it’s a morning or evening routine, or how people choose to unwind and relax.
A Favourites Post – Style, Beauty or Lifestyle
A good old favourites post is always a good idea in my opinion, and you can tailor this to any category you like – fashion, beauty, books, things to watch – you name it.
What do you think? What are your go-to ideas for when you’re lacking inspiration?
