Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I’m bringing you a beauty review today, on the Lacura Pink Clay Golden Glow Mask from Aldi– an absolute gem I’ve recently come across. I’ve used purchased and tried several beauty products from Aldi previously, and some have been great dupes. A favourite has been the hot cloth cleanser which you can read my full review of. Anyhow, drawing attention back to the Pink Clay Golden Glow Mask.
This mask is different to any other I’ve tried previously, in that it’s a two-in-one mask. The tub is split in half – half contains the pink clay mask, and the other includes the golden glow mask.
The pink clay mask is to be applied to areas of your face you want to detoxify, to help draw out impurities, and help tighten pores. If you have followed me for some time you will know about my history with acne, and my oily prone skin. Clay masks are always a must for me, and I like to make them a weekly ritual. I find them helpful for giving my skin a deep cleanse, and drawing oils and impurities out of my pores. Although the mask is advised to stay on for fifteen minutes, I could feel this one tightening and drawing all that nastiness out within a matter of minutes. However, it wasn’t too drying. Just make sure you follow with your usual moisturiser.
On the other hand, the golden glow mask should be applied to duller areas of the skin that you wish to brighten, and give a bit of a boost. For me, this is usually my under eye area, and sometimes areas of my chin can become dry too so it works well there for me too. Thankfully this mask didn’t lead to any break outs, which is often my worry with masks since I have acne prone skin.
Both should be applied to clean, dry skin, and left to work for fifteen minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
