Stone Trousers and a White Blouse

A light toned outfit doesn’t have to be something we’re afraid of, and is something I want to wear more regularly. You’ll know that a lot of the time my outfits are all black or grey.  I’ve been loving these stone trousers recently – I purchased them from Topshop last year, and have found them a great staple piece in my summer wardrobe. I recently shared how I styled them both casually, and for a dressier look which you can read here. Today I wanted to share a look which is a bit different for me, pairing them with a simple white blouse. This white blouse is from Uniqlo which is a lovely soft and thin material – perfect for summer.

Jacket: Uniqlo 

In true me style, I couldn’t not add some black to the outfit. I added my trusty faux black leather jacket, which is also from Uniqlo to finish the look and break up the brightness. You could style this look with trainers for a more casual daytime look – perfect for wandering around, or with some black heeled boots, or some court heels for a dressier look. These stone trousers are a versatile piece I’m managing to style this season.
