At the end of February, my boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely city break in Prague. It was my first time visiting Czech Republic, and it didn’t disappoint. The weekend was filled with sight seeing and good food & drink.
Our city break was a package deal with Jet2 – we stayed in the Hotel Design Metropol which was located in the old town, a five minute walk from the old town square. It was the perfect location – everything we wanted in walking distance so there was no travel arrangement stresses.
It wouldn’t be a trip to Prague, without a visit of the John Lennon Wall. It had to be ticked off the list. We also walked up to Cathedral which was well worth the walk up. At the top if a perfect spot for a coffee in the sunshine overlooking the beautiful views of the city.
We had plenty of tasty foods – two of my favourites being this apple strudel we found at a cafe, and this hot dog topped with onions & relish. We also found a pull your own pint place called ‘The Pub’ – so if you like a pint, that’s somewhere to try!
We had a great few days in Prague, and definitely want to book in some more city breaks!
